Richard Marx in Concert at Wendover for Valentines date
A friend got Sarah and I tickets to see Richard Marx for $9 a piece! Great venue and great concert! We will definately do something like this again.
Fun with Heidi
So for Christmas, Heidi gave us the most incredible gift.... DATE NIGHTS!!!!!
For anyone who has children, you know how amazing that gift is. What is even more amazing is how incredibly much my children adore Heidi! I don't mean that they just like her, like "Oh neat, Heidi is coming over." More like "Mom can't you leave so Heidi can come over!" It is pretty amazing. They love her so much you would think that we as parents didn't even matter at all. Which is quite bitter sweet. But really, just want to say "THANK YOU!" to Heidi for being the best ever! We all love you so much. Just wanted you to know!!!

"Our greatest fear is not that we are inadequate, but that we are powerful beyond measure." --Mother Teresa
I love this quote. I find it so incredibly inspiring and one day I really hope to believe it! There are days where I feel like I could be named "mother of the year", well, moments anyways. And more often than not, days where I feel quite the opposite. I am saddened at how hard Satan works, and how successful he often is in making us feel defeated and unimportant. I do believe that we are powerful as human beings and especially as women. We have a beautiful and important role and we somehow need to realize that. We, I need to catch an occasional glimpse of the power within me! I want to be powerful, I want to realize my potential as a daughter of my Heavenly Father.
Ky taught famiy home evening tonight and asked us each what was something that we loved! He then repeated it and said "every time you see that, remember that Heavenly Father made that for you and that He loves you!" It was so sweet. I know He would not waste time on anyone or anything unimportant. Which means that we are all important and truly powerful! I love my family and my children! What an amazing life I have!!!!

My Reese's heart...
What you are looking at is how my daughter's heart looked from the time she was born. She was born with 2 aortic arches. This caused her to not be able to eat or breathe very well. We had a very crazy summer finding out what could possibly be wrong with her. When we finally did find out, it was a really big deal. Thanks to lots of prayers and wonderful doctors, our baby is very well!!!! She now only has one aortic arch and the other is now free... The first picture you see is of a healthy baby Reese!! We are so happy!!!!!
